Citrus Tea Smoothie

citrus and earl grey tea smoothie

 1 cup orange segments, chilledabout 185g
 ½ grapefruit, segmented and chilledabout 123g
 ½ cup strong brewed earl grey tea, chilled
 ½ cup orange sherbet4 oz., or 74g
 2 ice cubes

First,

Brew a full cup of earl grey tea, but make it with just a half-cup of water. This will make it very strong. Allow it to cool and chill well.

Peel and segment the grapefruit and orange. Chill well.

Then,

Add all the ingredients to a good blender and blend well.

Pour into two glasses and serve. You can decorate this smoothie with a mint leaf or with a dash of cinnamon!
